1mL of filler…let’s talk about it💭
These lippies are the healed result of a full syringe of filler. She had very little tissue to work with prior to injections, and we used a high structure filler and multiple modalities to get here. Yet, you might look at these and think they’re her natural lips. That’s everyone’s goal, right?
A good half of the women who have sat in my chair have heard me preach as to why we should only start (and sometimes finish) with a half syringe in a sitting. The truth is, I am not going to let you look unnatural, or even have a ridiculous building process. (Of course, I can never predict how your body is going to respond and an undesirable healing process - or even outcome - is possible any time you go under the needle. And always remember NONE of us are ever too good for complications.) We sit down, we talk about it. The good, the bad, the ugly. The what ifs.
This client was an excellent candidate for a full syringe in one sitting and an absolute unicorn of a healer historically. She is the perfect example of a “one and done” session that will last her all year long.
I was going through before and afters for social media - where we try to always highlight the good, right? Of course I wanted to highlight how perfect she turned out. But I decided to use this as an opportunity to TALK ABOUT THE FACT that this is not everyone’s reality.
