After 45 incredible years of dedicated service, we announce the retirement of Dr. Kakarala from Tiffin Pediatrics. His career has touched the lives of countless families across generations, and his impact on this community is truly immeasurable.

“Dear families, it has been Dr. Kakarala’s distinct pleasure to serve you and the Tiffin community over the last four decades. He is now pleased to transition into his retirement phase and has passed the torch, effective February 26, 2026, to NP Samantha, NP Whitney, and our new Medical Director, Dr. Amna Hilal.

Dr. Hilal is a board-certified pediatrician who will help manage the practice, while Samantha and Whitney will remain onsite as clinical leaders. We will also be adding another pediatrician for onsite clinical services here in Tiffin, Ohio in the near future. Dr. Kakarala will remain available over the next few months to assist with the transition of care and provide clinical support.”

Dr. Kakarala was known not only for his exceptional medical care, but for the genuine love and connection he shared with his patients. From remembering names and stories from decades ago to providing thoughtful, personalized care, he created a legacy that will not be forgotten.

While we are saddened to see this chapter come to an end, we are incredibly grateful for the years he has given. His final day in the office will be May 28th—please join us in wishing him a happy and well-deserved retirement.

Thank you again to Dr. Kakarala for entrusting us with the continued care of your children and grandchildren. His dedication over all these years is deeply appreciated and will never be forgotten.

As we move forward, we are excited to welcome new ownership and the positive changes ahead. Our office will soon be introducing updated equipment, expanded testing, and enhanced patient resources. We are currently working on new systems including updated websites, social media platforms, MyChart access, and more to better serve our families.

We are proud to share that our dedicated Nurse Practitioners, Samantha Dotson and Whitney Stine, will continue providing the compassionate care you know and trust. We remain committed to caring for your children and are currently accepting new patients.

The office will be closed until 1pm tomorrow, January 26th. We will address the weather and road conditions in the morning before determining if we will open in the afternoon.
