🌸 EVENT DAY DETAILS — “Shake, Rattle & Run for a Cure!” 🌸
🏃♀️ 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk & 5K | Saturday Morning | The Howard Center – Tifton
We are so excited to see everyone this Saturday for our first-ever “Shake, Rattle & Run for a Cure!” 🎀
Here’s everything you need to know about parking, race times, and routes ⬇️

🚗 EVENT PARKING:
All event parking will be available at The Howard Center (1948 Old Ocilla Rd., Tifton, GA).
➡️ Volunteers will be in the parking lot bright and early to help direct traffic and guide runners/walkers to available parking spaces.
➡️ You’ll also see signage throughout the lot pointing to designated parking areas and the race start line.
📍 Please plan to arrive early — we’ll have music, smiles, and lots of energy as we kick off the morning together!

🕖 SCHEDULE:
• 7:15 AM: Sign-In & Registration opens
• 8:00 AM: 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk begins!
• Immediately following the 1-Mile: 5K Run starts
• 10:00 AM: Breast Cancer Warrior & Survivor Celebration + Awards Ceremony (held right after the race at The Howard Center) 💖

🏁 1-MILE FUN RUN/WALK ROUTE:
The 1-Mile route begins in The Howard Center parking lot.
• You’ll head down Kent Road toward Cypress Ridge Community
• At the Cypress Ridge driveway, you’ll turn around
• Then, follow Kent Road back toward The Howard Center, passing:
• Centers for Pain Management / Dr. Brent Savalli’s office
• Cypress Pond Senior Living
• …and finishing back at The Howard Center! 🎉
Volunteers will be posted along the route to cheer you on and help keep everyone safe! 💪

🏃♀️ 5K ROUTE:
The 5K will begin immediately after the 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk, starting in The Howard Center parking lot.
From there:
• You’ll head all the way down Kent Road until you reach Tift County High School (TCHS)
• At the TCHS driveway, volunteers will direct you to enter the school property
• Follow the signage through the TCHS parking lot, looping:
• Behind the school
• Alongside the gymnasium
• Through the PAC (Performing Arts Center) parking lot
• Then, head back out onto Kent Road and make your way back to The Howard Center for a strong finish! 🏅
Every turn will be clearly marked with directional signs and supported by our amazing volunteers to ensure everyone stays on course and safe.

🎗️ After the Race:
Stick around after you cross that finish line — we’ll be celebrating our Breast Cancer Warriors & Survivors at 10:00 AM, followed by the Awards Ceremony honoring our top runners and walkers!
