SNAP benefits for Georgia families will be fully funded this month, thanks to a federal court ruling and USDA’s compliance. While we were scared during the shutdown, Oasis saw firsthand how uncertainty weighed on families. Yet, what stood out most was the strength of our community. Local partners, businesses, and organizations stepped up—adjusting prices, expanding food availability, and preparing to support those who might not receive their benefits.

Today, we celebrate not only the restoration of SNAP funding but also the resilience and compassion that carried us through. Thank you to everyone who stood in the gap, ensuring dignity and nourishment for our neighbors. Together, we continue to prove that recovery is not just about surviving—it’s about thriving, with hope and solidarity leading the way. 💙 💚

Tonight wasn’t just a Halloween party, it was redemption in real time. For many of us, this was our first Halloween sober, and we showed up with laughter, gratitude, and the kind of joy only freedom brings. 🕊️

Our theme said it all: The Graveyard of the Past.
We buried addiction. We buried fear. We buried brokenness. 💀
And in their place, we chose life, love, and purpose.

From the foamboard tombstones to the costumes and the laughter, every moment was a reminder of how far we’ve come. We danced on the graves of what once tried to destroy us, and we celebrated the life we’re building one day at a time.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the night unforgettable. You are living proof that recovery is alive and real at Oasis and freedom is worth fighting for. 💪🖤

Here’s to new memories, new traditions, and never going back to what tried to bury us.
