Yesterday, we had the opportunity to speak with EMA Directors from Clinch and Brantley Counties. They shared that their fire stations have been overwhelmed—in the best way—with supplies and equipment to support the brave men and women battling the wildfires.
We were also informed that Atkinson County is serving as a staging location, helping distribute supplies where they’re needed most. In addition, we stopped by our local Tifton Fire Department, who will soon be traveling southeast to assist in fighting the fires. We were able to drop off supplies with Tifton Fire, Atkinson County Fire, and Cook County EMA, who will help get these items to the Georgia Forestry – Cook Office.
We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to give back and for the overwhelming support from our community. Your generosity is making a real difference.
Please continue to keep the families and communities affected by these fires in your prayers. We pray for protection over those on the front lines and for much-needed rain in the impacted areas.
God bless Brantley, Clinch, and Echols Counties—and God bless Tifton/Tift County for showing up in such a powerful way. We love you all.
