Dr. Jonathan Greenleaf has retired from practicing after over 30 years as one of Oregon's finest orthopedic and sports medicine specialists. John was one of the co-founders of our clinic and has been a constant key to its success since we opened our doors. During his time here, he also furthered research in the use of biologic injections in the healing of tissue, and cartilage restoration through minimally invasive surgery.

He was highly regarded in all corners of the sports medicine field and his work still resonates today. Outside of SMO, Dr. Greenleaf was the Medical Director for the 2016 US Track & Field indoor championships and 2016 World Championships. He was also the team physician for the US Olympic Track & Field Trials. He has been an invaluable member of our team, and we wish him only the best as he looks toward his new chapter outside the clinic.
