The History of Full Potential HRT Clinic - Updated 8/19/2018
Dr. Robert Strait, N.D. first opened the doors to what is now called âFull Potential HRT Clinicâ in January of 2015 in southwest Portland, Oregon. Originally, at that time, the clinic was called âFull Potential Menâs Clinic.â The decision to open the clinic as a âmenâs clinic,â focused on and specializing in providing unrivaled testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and comprehensive hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for men, along with revolutionary erectile dysfunction treatments for erectile dysfunction was made due to the clinicâs limited resources available in terms of time and energy at that time â not out of a plan to only remain as a âmenâs clinicâ or âtestosterone clinicâ for men long-term.
Full Potential Menâs Clinic outgrew its original location in only eight months and moved to another location in southwest Portland in September of 2015. Full Potential Menâs Clinic outgrew that location in only twelve months and moved to another location in southwest Portland in October of 2016, where itâs still located.
Full Potential Menâs Clinic also opened a location in the Seattle, Washington metro area in January of 2016, in Renton, Washington. Full Potential Menâs Clinic in southwest Portland began the process of officially changing its name to Full Potential HRT Clinic in April of 2018, when it officially launched its concierge specialty testosterone replacement therapy and comprehensive hormone replacement therapy programs for women.
During our first three years and three months in business (up until April 2018), while we were still working as a âmenâs clinicâ with only male patients, we worked hard to find hormone replacement therapy doctors for the female partners of our male patients. Each and every time this was unsuccessful. No amount of networking resolved the problem. Each and every time our male patient would eventually tell us some combination of that doctor or clinic was way more expensive than our clinic, not nearly as knowledgeable or as effective as our clinic, and their customer service wasnât nearly as great as our clinicâs was. Finally, after fielding these complaints for more than three years, we re-evaluated our clinicâs available resources in terms of time, energy, and space, and realized we could serve women now, and that it was time to launch our testosterone replacement therapy and comprehensive hormone replacement therapy services and other services for women. We became Full Potential HRT Clinic.
