Copied this from Whispering Lights just in case it didn't share with the post

Today is Christmas.

The lights are on.
The tree is decorated.
The house looks exactly how Christmas is supposed to look.

And yet… it still feels empty.

It’s strange how Christmas can arrive,
but the feeling doesn’t.

Some of us smile for the world,
while quietly missing the people who should be here.

The ones who made this day feel warm.
The ones whose absence is louder than the carols playing outside.

If you’re reading this on Christmas Day and feeling alone,
please know you’re not broken.

Some hearts carry memories instead of joy today.
And that’s still love. 🎄🕯️

Same picture but for others helping people today. I copied what they had written just in case it didn't show up.

While many of us are home today, some are still showing up.
Today is Christmas. 🫡
Homes are filled with lights, food, laughter, and familiar voices.

But somewhere right now,
a nurse is holding a patient’s hand.
A doctor is working through the night.
A firefighter is waiting for the next call.
A police officer is on patrol.
A soldier is far from home.
A worker is keeping the lights on, the heat running, the roads moving.

They are missing dinners.
They are missing hugs.
They are missing moments they can never get back.

So that others can feel safe.
So that families can stay together.
So that life keeps going, even on Christmas.

If you are one of them,
please know this:

You are seen.
You are appreciated.
You matter more than words can say.

This Christmas, we pause not just to celebrate,
but to say thank you.

Thank you for your sacrifice.
Thank you for your strength.
Thank you for showing up when it matters most.

Merry Christmas,
to those who are working so the rest of us can rest. 🎄🤍

The fiercest storms are never meant to anchor your spirit in darkness; they are but a passage to the warmth that awaits. Remember, when your own strength falters, you are being held up by the invisible threads of someone’s prayers and the unwavering light of hope. Wrap yourself in the comfort of knowing you are never truly walking alone. Stay steady, stay warm, for the dawn is always closer than the cold suggests. Your resilience is the fire that no storm can extinguish.
