TMS, or Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, is a non-invasive procedure that uses magnetic fields to stimulate certain areas of the brain. The therapy involves placing an electromagnetic coil against the scalp near the forehead. The electromagnet delivers a magnetic pulse that stimulates nerve cells in the region of the brain responsible for mood control and depression.

How Does TMS Affect The Brain?
1. Increased Neuroplasticity
Neuroplasticity is the brain’s ability to adapt and rewire itself. In those with depression, neuroplasticity can be diminished. TMS therapy helps to restore neural flexibility, encouraging the brain to form new connections that support mood and emotional regulation.

2. Regulation of the Prefrontal Cortex
The dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) is a key area associated with depression. Research has shown that individuals with depression often have reduced activity in the left DLPFC and overactivity in the right DLPFC. TMS helps to correct this imbalance, stimulating the left side while calming the overactive right side.

3. Boosted Neurotransmitter Levels
TMS therapy influences the production of essential neurotransmitters such as:
Serotonin, Dopamine, & Norepinephrine

4. Improved Brain Wave Function
Studies have shown thatthose with depression exhibit abnormal alpha wave activity in the brain. TMS therapy can normalize these brain wave patterns, leading to more stable mood and cognitive function.

If you've been in survival mode, and are feeling the effects remember, this isn’t a weakness. It’s biology doing its job.

Healing begins when your body has enough safety, support, and consistency to shift out of "fight or flight" and into "rest and digest".
You deserve to care for yourself in ways that help your system slow down—not just push through.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) uses targeted magnetic pulses to stimulate areas in the brain that are underactive or damaged due to depression.

83% of patients completing TMS treatment experienced measurable depression relief.

62% experienced full remission of their depression symptoms..

If traditional treatments have failed to offer you relief, or you struggle with the side effects of medications, TMS could be right for you.
