✨ The magic of our Ukrainian Christmas Cooking Class! 💛💙
We cooked borshch with pampushky, savory varenyky, and sweet varenyky — and shared the stories and traditions behind each dish.
The heart of Ukrainian Christmas is kutya, and we also enjoyed a beautiful overview of the Ukrainian cookbook collection from Poudre Libraries. 📚✨

Huge thanks to Poudre Libraries for this opportunity and to Trinity Lutheran Church for hosting us with so much warmth.

🌾 World Bread Day – October 16 🌾

In Ukraine, bread has always been more than food — it’s a symbol of life, hospitality, and gratitude. Every loaf carries the warmth of home and the stories of generations.
Today, as I bake and teach here in Colorado, I feel proud to share and keep alive these beautiful Ukrainian bread traditions.
May every loaf remind us how simple ingredients — flour, water, and care — can connect people across cultures and bring comfort to every table. ❤️🥖
