Today I visited Poudre Library to prepare for our upcoming Ukrainian Easter program — and I can already imagine this room filled with people, stories, and the aroma of fresh p***a.

🍺🔥 Beer. Food. Energy.

At Maxline Brewing we explored craft beer in three ways — as a beverage, as a cooking ingredient, and as a true pairing partner.

Golden schnitzel, smoky rye canapés, warm apple strudel… all matched with beautiful local brews.

Great beer. Delicious German flavors. And a CSU group that brought incredible energy to the kitchen.

This is what happens when learning meets flavor. Prost! 🍻

In Ukraine, p***a is the most ceremonial bread of the year, baked only for Easter and blessed in church as a symbol of celebration, faith, and family gathering.

So excited to host a sourdough class for families and friends 🍞✨

This group was truly special — 14 teenagers chose to bake alongside their families. Watching them mix, fold, and create together was a beautiful reminder that bread is more than food — it’s time, connection, and shared memories.

We also made rosemary salt and whipped homemade butter in the Thermomix — I’ll share more about this special culinary ritual in my next post.
Family is the greatest recipe of all. 💛

At CSU, students from Nanzan University stepped into the kitchen to prepare Tex-Mex classics — from perfectly seasoned tacos to beautifully plated cherry scones.

I had a lovely conversation with a journalist from Colorado State University about my work with Osher Lifelong Learning Institute — and what makes these classes so special.

I shared stories of OLLI at Colorado State University members proudly baking their very first loaf of sourdough, sending me photos with big smiles and genuine joy.
These moments remind me how powerful learning can be at any age — and how important OLLI is for our local community.

Here, curiosity truly never retires.
