Please join us in congratulating Jasmine on her promotion to Life Enrichment Manager!

Jasmine’s journey with our organization began as a student volunteer during her high school summers. She later joined our Dining Team in the St. Elizabeth’s Hall café, where she worked for 7 years while earning her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Coppin State University.

In early 2024, Jasmine transitioned to the Life Enrichment Team, where she discovered her passion for engagement and enhancing the lives of our residents. She worked diligently to complete the Activity Director course, earning her certification in September 2025.

Jasmine has been an incredible asset to Stella Maris —helping train new staff and volunteers, creating engaging activities, and embracing every opportunity to learn and grow. She is known for her bright smile, positive attitude, and willingness to jump in wherever she’s needed to ensure our residents have the best possible experience.

Jasmine truly exemplifies our mission and values through her compassion, creativity, flexibility, and commitment to excellence.

On behalf of the Stella Maris Mission and Values Committee, we take time this month to celebrate and recognize the extraordinary contributions of all women during Women's History Month. All month long we celebrate the many breakthroughs, inventions and achievements from all women that have left an indelible mark on our world. It is because of the dedication, passion and pride of all the women here at Stella Maris that we continue to push our mission forward and continue providing great care for our residents.

When a child experiences loss, they don’t always have the words to explain what they’re feeling—but they still need space to heal. Camp, Me Too! is a two-day, one-night camp designed to help grieving children explore their grief through innovative, supportive techniques. Activities include drumming and musical instruments, nature walks, creative art, story sharing, and opportunities for discovery and emotional expression.

At Camp, Me Too!, children get to laugh, remember, share, and grow—all while building coping skills they can carry with them long after camp ends. It’s more than a camp—it’s a community of understanding, hope, and healing.

Stella Maris Inc is proud to announce that our Skilled Home Health Department achieved a four star rating in Health Care Quality and Patient Experience from US News and World Report! Not only did they achieved this rating in overall quality and experience but they also achieved above National and State averages in several care metrics. US News and World Report uses CMS reported health care quality outcomes and patient experience measures to evaluate home health agencies. This amazing achievement is a result of the passion, dedication, tireless efforts and skill of our clinicians, office staff and leadership at Stella Maris Home Health.
