The Village recently sent communication via email regarding business license renewals, which are due Dec. 31. Please be advised that invoices generated by the BS&A system did not include an amount due. Please be sure to pay the business license online or contact licensing@tinleypark.org for assistance.

The Village requires that most businesses in Tinley Park have a valid business license. Some business types are regulated by the State and are not required to get a business license. If you're unsure if your business needs a business license or not, please call (708) 444-5004.

In all, 42 Tinley Park businesses, schools, and organizations took first place, 39 took second place, and 25 took third place. In addition, Tinley Park also took first place for "Best Place to Live," "Best Mayor" for Mayor Michael Glotz, "Best Place to Work," and "Best Downtown," and the Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce won "Best Chamber." Tinley Park also took second place for "Best Local Festival" for the Tinley Park Block Party.

Banging Gavel Brews at The Vogt House has been recognized with the 2025 Landmarks Illinois Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Preservation Award for Adaptive Reuse.

Built in 1865, The Vogt House is Tinley Park’s only National Register-listed landmark. Thanks to the Tinley Park community, its story continues as a gathering place for craft beer, food, music, and memories for our community.
