🔪 Use the right tools – Pumpkin carving kits are safer than kitchen knives.
✋ Carve away from yourself – Always cut with controlled, downward motions.
🕯️ Light it safely – Swap candles for LED lights to avoid burns or fire hazards.
👀 Supervise kids – Let them draw the design and scoop out the seeds, while adults handle the carving.

This October, Dr. Christopher Johnson, triple-board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon, went to Honduras on his 25th medical mission trip—a remarkable milestone in his ongoing dedication to global healthcare.

During the trip, Dr. Johnson and his team performed over 30 surgeries for patients in need, providing life-changing orthopaedic care.

In addition to treating patients, Dr. Johnson, who also serves as an international professor at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras (UNAH), witnessed the installation of the university’s new Surgical Area—a major advancement that will enhance training and opportunities for future medical professionals.

Meet Dr. William Gallagher—Our Newest Fellowship-Trained, Board-Certified Sports Medicine Specialist

Specializing in a wide array of adolescent and adult orthopaedic injuries, Dr. Gallagher provides care to athletes and nonathletes with acute musculoskeletal injuries, chronic overuse conditions, nonsurgical fractures, and concussions, and he has a special interest in injury prevention. He also treats patients interested in alternatives to surgery using various treatment strategies, including ultrasound-guided procedures, such as steroid injections, hyaluronic acid injections, nerve hydrodissection, orthobiologics, and focused rehabilitative therapy regimens.
