I want to share a tail-wagging, warm hearted collie Shout-out to Kristin and the entire crew at Community Veterinary Clinic. These guys work HARD for pets and their people...and today was no different.

A last minute appointment request, they have updated my crew with essential vaccines and hugs.

As we wrapped up exams on the last two collies, I watched something truly touching unfold. I noticed a light tear fall from Kristin's eye. When I asked her if she was ok, she expressed with sincerity how taken aback she was to feel their abundant coat, and condition.

"I FEEL like I am touching royalty right now."

This made my cry too. These dogs are soo soo very special, and live to serve others. It was such a treat to see someone in the veterinary industry feel this way about them, too.

Love what you do, and never work a day in your life.

One of the biggest reasons I created Collie Connections? Employability readiness!

I believe in the trades.
I believe in entrepreneurship.
And I believe young people deserve to see what real opportunity looks and feels like!

I was mentored by people wiser than me (looking at you, Sandy Pierro ), and that gift shaped my life. Now it's time to open doors for the next generation.

Our partnership with Ann Welly at All Service Glass is just the beginning. Tonight, the final night of the Collie Connections program was a huge success! More on this soon!

💙 Huge shout out to Jaeyln and Jenn Line — a powerhouse mother-daughter team who jumped in this weekend to help bathe and dry six Collies as we prepare for the final week of the program. You made it happen!

We are celebrating an incredible milestone for the Collie Connections kids and dogs this week!

An experience unlike ANY other! The group walked through a real world workplace scenario, all thanks to All Service Glass and President Ann Welly.

The mission: Do the Right Thing; Do the Thing Right! Along the way? Challenges were met with essential employability skills gained first alongside trusted Collie Friends, and deployed in a.great way!

Problem-solving, teamwork, leadership, and laughter, all had a seat at this table.

The Collie Connections Program is a 6 week program that pairs the unconditional love from Collies with essential employability, life and leadership skills - designed to get young people inspired and engaged in our community starting ....now!

We are soo thankful for Arbogast GMC/Arbogast Ford!

We purchased our van, Malone from Arbogast GMC (Waving at you, Larry Oaks ) and now have it serviced through Arbogast Ford. (Too many helpful guys to mention).

Many of you know my van well, and you know it is ESSENTIAL in the work I do with the Collies within our community.

🎺 Rooty TootToot 🎺 Was out and about this afternoon sharing unconditional love, and hugs to an incredible group of teens at Troy-Miami County Public Library . We are grateful for the resource, connection and community of our local Library. The Collie Connections program is now open for interested teens to apply for upcoming programs coming in 2026!

We are all tails wagging at the feels of this event. Soo thankful for Troy-Miami County Public Library for hosting the first of many "Free Collie Hugs" events! The aim of this event is to normalize unconditional love through the power of Collies, and introduce our 6-week Collie Connections program, set to begin February 5, 2025.
