To finish up National Activity Professionals Week we have to highlight all the activities we offer at Autumnwood Village. We also love to get out and go everywhere! Every week we have errands around town, shopping, and eating at different restaurants. In the summers we love driving the golf cart all over town! We also have special trips such as community Bingo, tractor shows, events/festivals in town, casinos, antiquing, plays, movies, and much more!

To finish up National Activity Professionals Week, we have to highlight all the activities we offer at Autumnwood Village. We love to have fun and stay busy! Some of our favorite activities are bingo, live music, educational talks, exercise club, trips around the world, spa day, movie nights, arts and crafts, Bible share, church services, and much more!

Today we would like to highlight our fantastic activity volunteers for National Activity Professionals Week! We have many wonderful people that donate their time, love, knowledge, and talents to all the residents of Autumnwood Village.

We have Melinda Neff who comes in weekly for Bible share and virtual church services. We also have the Schmitt family, Steven Brown, Jim Hendershot, and Jane! They all come in on the weekends to have church services, devotionals, and music for all the residents. We all look forward to everyone’s time here and we appreciate everything you all do! Thank you so very much!

To continue National Activity Professionals Week, we would now like to highlight our wonderful Activity Assistants, Raline and Ron!

Raline loves to help activities by calling bingo, coming up with new and creative ideas and much more. Raline has worked for Miller’s for eight years. You can also find Raline working as a PCA and in the kitchen. She is currently in college and when/if she has any free time she loves to read, ride her motorcycle, go fishing, and play with her dogs, Pickles and Peanut.

Ron enjoys getting to know all the residents during social hour and leading them in exercise classes three days a week. Ron has worked for Autumnwood Village for almost a year and also works in our maintenance department. He is a long-time resident of Tipton where he lives with his wife, Melinda, and dog, Buddy. He has three children: Mary, Jack, and Abby, as well as three grandchildren! His favorite hobbies include exercise/fitness, flowers/gardening, and spending time with his family and dog.

Thank you for everything you do for everyone at Autumnwood Village, Raline and Ron! We all appreciate both of you very much!

Happy National Activity Professionals Week! This week is to honor our activity department, and all they do to enrich the lives of the residents at Autumnwood Village!

Let’s kick the week off with our fearless Activity Director, Jessica Teter! Jessica has worked for Miller's for almost nine years. During this time, she has held many different positions including activities, transportation, cook, server, social service, and CNA. Jessica is married to her husband, Jeremy, and they have three wonderful children together, Rosey, Emmett, and Charli. In her free time she enjoys crafting, online shopping, spending time with her family, friends, and pets, and attending all her kids’ events.

Jessica’s favorite thing about working at Autumnwood Village is “Being able to take the time to get to know all the residents personally, their life stories, families, and preferences. It truly means a lot to them, and all of us to be able to offer that individualized level of care. We all become like a family here.”

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Meet Hilda. She has lived at Autumnwood Village for almost five years, so it’s safe to say she is pretty much an expert on this wonderful place she now calls home. Therefore, she would like to take a minute to tell everyone a little bit about Autumnwood Village.

"My favorite thing about living here is for sure the people. Everyone is very friendly!” Since living here, Hilda has found that her favorite meal is definitely the fried chicken. Her favorite events are the outside family cookout/picnics and her favorite activities are the music, errands around town, trips around the world, and bingo, but only when she is winning.

If you are looking for an assisted living facility Hilda thinks you should choose Autumnwood Village. “Mainly because you can always get help right away whenever you need it and you are never alone anymore.” Thank you for continuing to choose Autumnwood Village Hilda! We are very blessed to have you apart of the family!

We are happy to introduce one of our new employees, Gabe Wiggington! Gabe is currently a Junior at Tipton High School and he also attends John Hinds for welding and enjoys playing baseball. In his free time he loves fishing, hunting, and welding. So far his favorite things about working at Autumnwood Village have been getting to know all the nice residents and co-workers.
