It doesn’t have to be extremely hot for your body to need more water.

As you spend more time outdoors this spring, try to sip water throughout the day instead of waiting until you feel thirsty. Even mild dehydration can lead to headaches, fatigue, and low energy.

Staying hydrated helps you feel better and supports your overall health, so you can keep doing the things you love.

Allergies can make this time of year tough, but a few simple steps can help you feel better.

🟡Check pollen levels before spending lots of time outside
🟡Shower or change clothes when you come back in to wash pollen off
🟡Keep windows closed on high pollen days
🟡Wash your bedding and air filters often

Also, it’s a good idea to cough or sneeze into your sleeve instead of in the open, just in case your symptoms aren’t allergy-related.

If your symptoms are keeping you from sleeping well or getting through your day, it may be a good time to talk with a provider about relief options. Our providers at SCHPG Primary Care are accepting new patients. Call 706-282-5840 for an appointment.
