âDo you offer deep tissue?â
I get asked this all the time â and the answer isnât a simple yes or no.
There are so many different types of massage, and every therapist brings different training, experience, and intention into their work. That means two people can book the same massage and have a completely different experience.
The most common massages people know are Swedish (relaxation) and Deep Tissue.
Swedish massage is for relaxation.
It uses long, flowing strokes to calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and improve circulation.
Deep tissue massage is usually requested when someone wants firmer pressure to work through tight muscles and get some pain relief.
But when you see me â itâs a different experience.
My focus is to help you with your pain. Whether you are in pain or you want to prevent pain, my goal is to get you feeling your best.Â
I do this by looking at why your body is in pain in the first place.
I use muscle testing to identify compensation patterns and find the true priority muscles that need to be released first, then tailor the session based on what your body actually needs that day. Pain isnât always coming from where you feel it â itâs often coming from somewhere else.
My goal isnât just to help you feel better on the tableâŚ
Itâs to help you feel better faster and for longer, whether youâre in pain now or trying to prevent it.
⨠This is bodywork with a purpose.
