Our learner is working on fine motor coordination and hand strength while placing pegs into this fun porcupine toy. Activities like this help build the small muscle movements needed for everyday skills like writing, buttoning clothes, and using utensils.
Learning through play is one of the best ways to grow! 💙

🧩 Learning through play!
One of our learners practiced letter matching on a foam mat during a Natural Environment Teaching (NET) activity. Instead of sitting at a desk, learning happens through movement, play, and hands-on exploration!
✨ What is NET?
Natural Environment Teaching is an ABA strategy where skills are taught during everyday activities and play. It helps learners stay motivated while building real-life skills in a fun, meaningful way.
Watching these small moments turn into big progress is one of our favorite parts of the day. 💙

We are giving our hard working teachers and their students a couple extra days of break this Labor Day!

Our break will be from Friday, Sept. 2-Tuesday, Sept. 6 and classes will resume on Wednesday, Sept. 7th!
