We’re hiring Family Therapists to join the Behavioral Health team at the University of Toledo Medical Center—supporting children, adolescents, and their families through life’s toughest moments.

In this full-time role (8a–4:30p), you’ll play a key part in our care team by providing:
• Individual, family, and group therapy
• Discharge planning and coordination
• Family meetings to ensure seamless support at home
• Close collaboration with nursing staff and the interdisciplinary treatment team

A patient's family wrote, “My husband had an outpatient prostate procedure recently, and his recovery didn’t go quite as expected. He was uncomfortable and not feeling well the next day, and Nurse Jen immediately noticed something wasn’t right. She notified the charge nurse, and thanks to their quick teamwork, the doctors were able to step in and take care of the issue right away. Jen continued to check on him in the SICU and once he returned to the floor. Her kindness, attentiveness, and genuine compassion made such a difference during a stressful time for our family. The PHIL Award® (Pulmonary Health and Illnesses of the Lungs) honors one respiratory therapist each year who goes above and beyond in providing compassionate care and education to patients with pulmonary illnesses.

Created by The FACES Foundation, the award was founded by Sharman Lamka in memory of her husband, Philip C. Lamka, to recognize the vital role respiratory therapists play in helping patients “breathe easier.” 💙

Each recipient receives a certificate of recognition and the beautiful Appreciation Sculpture by artist MK Shannon — a symbol of gratitude from patients and families for these true heroes of care.

Nursing Assistant (NA) Pool Hiring Blitz
Make a difference while gaining valuable experience in your nursing career.

Requirements:
• Enrolled in an ADN, BSN, or MSN program
• Completed one hospital clinical OR a nursing fundamentals course (with check-offs)

Pay:
• Starting at $18.99/hr
• Increases to $19.58/hr after 180 days

Timeline:
• Applications: 10/10 – 10/22
• Interviews: Begin 10/23
• Offers: Week of 10/27
• Onboarding: November (all requirements due by Dec 1)
• Mandatory paid orientation: Dec 15–17

Additional Details:
• Minimum 2 shifts per month (12-hour shifts)
