Brandon, RN, is recognized for his outstanding patient advocacy and clinical judgment. While caring for a patient after an outpatient procedure, he identified early signs of sepsis despite discharge orders being placed. Brandon spoke up and closely monitored the patient for over 8 hours in PACU until higher-level care was arranged. The patient later required ICU care, and the family repeatedly shared that "because of Brandon, our mom is still here today.” His vigilance and compassion truly embody the spirit of the DAISY Award.
