Early in life she was inspired by her father to look into Chiropractic. Although, her first degree was in animal science, her passion for helping people emerged and she changed her course. In her plan to move towards wellness she discovered a few health concerns she had and was unsatisfied with the answers she was given. Between the fatigue, weight gain, and hair loss from hypothyroidism, and personality changes associated with severe hormone imbalances Dr. Seitz was desperate to make some changes in her life. Her first Chiropractic experience was in 2006. The doctor explained how removing nerve interference the body will heal itself. Still skeptical, Dr. Seitz was given high doses of antibiotics to relieve a sinus infection she had over spring break. Those high doses killed all the good bacteria in her body and she was left with all the bad, an infection known as Clostridium Difficile. She recovered several months later with the help of probiotics, more antibiotics, and Chiropractic care. Shortly after, Dr. Seitz was rear ended causing whiplash. With that, her migraines peaked. After a few months of continued care, her migraines dropped in number and severity. With all the help Chiropractic did for her, it solidified her path to bring natural wellness to the community. In 2012, Dr. Seitz began schooling at Palmer College of Chiropractic. There it was discovered she had Scoliosis, a lateral curve in the spine. She was devastated but with the support from chiropractic she has been able to overcome the fears she associated with the condition. During her time at Palmer, Dr. Seitz met a chiropractor who also worked with functional medicine. Between his specific adjustments and supplementation, and making changes to her diet, she has had her hormones rebalanced and no longer has a thyroid condition. By changing her life and embracing all aspects of chiropractic her health has never been better. Through all of these life experiences, she was being prepared for the vital work of helping people reach their full health potential. Throughout her graduate school career at the prestigious fountainhead, Palmer College of Chiropractic, she succeeded by constantly studying and researching the most effective ways to be healthy and bring that health and wellness to the community. Dr. Seitz’s passion is to educate and support as many families as possible so they can reach their full health potential through natural chiropractic care. Over the past years she has seen her dream become a reality; Seitz Family Chiropractic is an up and coming clinic in the Tama-Toledo area. Seitz Family Chiropractic and Dr. Seitz will continue to educate more and more people on the principles of how the body functions and the importance of supporting innate within the body through eating nutritiously, exercising, and most importantly removing nerve interference through chiropractic.
