It remains unclear whether SNAP benefits will be issued in November due to the ongoing federal government shutdown.

If you or someone you know is experiencing food shortages, please know that help is available. There are several food pantries throughout Lucas County.

The United Way of Greater Toledo provides a list of local food distribution sites as well as locations that offer hot meals. You can find additional information on their website at:
