15 years ago, alcohol took everything from Jeffrey.

Last month, we were proud to recognize Dan Heusman, MSW, LISW, LICDC, and the team at the Toledo Legal Aid Society as our Partner In Progress.

We chose the name Partner In Progress because meaningful partnerships are built in the work, day in and day out, through advocacy, consistency, and a shared commitment to doing what’s right.

Dan and his team embody that. He brings a level of professionalism, integrity, and compassion that makes a real difference for the individuals and families they serve.

The Toledo Legal Aid Society plays a critical role in our local justice system and advocates for individuals to have the best chance of coming out on the other side of their charges successfully. It’s a unique program, and has evolved in so many amazing ways since inception.

We are incredibly grateful for Dan’s leadership and for the entire TLAS team who show up every day to advocate for those who need it most.

Thank you for being a true partner, and for the progress we continue to make together.
