Dr. Rex Mowat’s decision to become a physician was shaped by the realities of the world around him, including the lasting impact of the Vietnam era. Over the years, his career has been defined not only by medicine, but by human connection like receiving a heartfelt thank you letter from the wife of a patient who had passed away.

Energetic and endlessly curious, Dr. Mowat spends time rose gardening, snacking on popcorn, and even showing off a perfect chicken warble, when the moment calls for it.

As part of a 100-year legacy, he takes pride in following in the footsteps of the physicians who came before him and even still fits into the same suit he wore when he joined the clinic decades ago.
