CommunityCare Clinic

CCC is a completely free clinic providing primary healthcare to the greater Toledo community. The students work with licensed practitioners who volunteer.

We are staffed by volunteer students across the various fields at the University of Toledo. CCC is a student-run organization that operates free clinics which provide primary healthcare services for the uninsured and underinsured in the Greater Toledo community. By integrating medical, pharmacy, nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, health education, and nutrition student teams, under the supervision of licensed providers, CCC creates a unique interprofessional environment that’s centered on increasing healthcare access to our patients. A wide array of patient services are provided, while enhancing student education and awareness of healthcare disparities in the region.

Need to get re-certified in phlebotomy? We got you.

CCC is launching a phlebotomy re-certification program and can help cover the cost of your exam. In return, you’ll have the opportunity to volunteer with us and put your skills to use in our clinics.

If you’ve previously been nationally certified and are looking to get back into it, this is a great way to stay involved and give back to the community!

CCC is partnering with the Lucas County Health Department to provide FREE COVID-19 vaccinations at our Main Clinic on February 26 at 5:30 PM.

Day of Giving starts today! 🚀❤️

From February 18 at 6 AM to February 19 at 6 PM, CCC is participating in Rocket Forward Day of Giving to continue providing FREE healthcare to patients across the Toledo community.

CCC is the largest student-run free clinic in the country, and every clinic night is made possible through donor support. For every $1 donated, up to $81 of medical care can be provided to our patients.

Congratulations to Emily Warden on her final Women’s Clinic a few weeks ago! 🥳

Women’s Clinic has been better for having Emily as part of it. The care, thoughtfulness, and effort she brought to each clinic did not go unnoticed, and her impact will be felt beyond her final clinic. We can’t wait to have her back as a clinical volunteer soon!!!

Congratulations to Olivia Togliatti on her final St. Peter and Paul clinic this past Sunday! 🥳

Olivia brought so much care and consistency to SPP, and it really showed in the way patients and the team were supported each week. So grateful for everything she contributed, and we are so excited to have her back as a clinical volunteer next year! 🤍
