Dr. Johnson’s work as an educator, researcher, and scholar reflects a deep commitment to transforming science education through equity and inclusion. Her research amplifies marginalized voices and challenges systemic barriers to ensure that all students regardless of race, gender, or background have access to a high-quality science education.
A graduate of the University of Georgia, where she earned her Ph.D. in Science Education, Dr. Johnson’s vision extends beyond the classroom. She is changing the climate of STEM fields and inspiring the next generation of scholars and changemakers.
