This , we’re reminding our community that heart health matters. Staying active, managing stress, and keeping up with medical care all support a healthy heart, but knowing CPR can save a life when every second counts.

At Zepf Center, safety is at the heart of what we do. All staff are trained in CPR and ready to support clients and community members when it matters most.

Take time this month to care for your heart, and learn skills that can save a life.

For generations, Black communities have practiced community care, supporting one another through churches, neighbors, mutual aid, and shared strength.

Mental Health America highlights how community care supports mental health by centering connection, culture, and collective healing. It’s a powerful reminder that care doesn’t only happen in offices, it happens when we look out for each other.

Learn more about the roots and impact of community care:

Community care means looking out for one another. It is a way of thinking that ties the well-being of the individual to the well-being of others. It has existed in communities of color for generations. It’s about connection, showing up for one another, and taking intentional action to help others.

Today's the day! Super Bowl Sunday is one of the biggest sporting events of the year, and for many, that includes betting.

While placing a wager can feel exciting, it’s important to remember that gambling should always be fun, controlled, and within your limits.

If you or someone you know feels like gambling isn’t fun anymore or it’s having a negative impact on life, help is available. Call or text 1-800-MY-RESET for free, 24/7 support, or call 419-841-7701 to connect with our local team.

Community Alert: Fraudulent Mail Targeting Medicaid Clients

We have been made aware of fraudulent postcards being mailed to community members who receive Medicaid or Medicare.
These postcards may:
- Use Ohio or Medicaid logos
- Promise extra money or benefits
- Ask you to call a phone number to “see if you qualify”

Please do NOT call the number listed and do NOT share your personal information. This includes your Social Security number, Medicaid ID, date of birth, or banking details. Medicaid and Job & Family Services will not ask for personal information through postcards. Official benefits are not activated by calling random phone numbers

If you receive one of these postcards and have questions, contact your local county office directly using a trusted phone number or reach out to us for guidance. Please share this post to help protect friends, family, and neighbors, especially seniors and individuals receiving benefits.
