Come in for your prescription before this next bit of weather and pick up Christmas Cards to write while you wait out the blowing winds predicted tonight and tomorrow. We have stocking stuffers and candles with many wicks to surly keep the home fires burning and lit should the electricity go out.

Remember the joy of Steve Martin when the new phone books were in years ago? Well the new 2026 calendars are in at Medicap!! Pick one up when you come in to get your prescription, speak to Derek about Medicare Part D for 2026, pick up a card, gift or OTC (Over the Counter) items to spend down your 2025 Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA).

Reminder: Open Enrollment for Medicare Part D (Medication) runs 10/15-12/7. Derek will check which plan may be best for you based on your Medicap medication list. Call 641-484-6198 to be put on the Appointment List. You will be called back with a time slot on the morning of Thursday November 13 at the Toledo Medicap. (November 8 is now full) Pick up your Thanksgiving cards while you are here to stay in touch with those you may not be gathering with on November 28.

Covid Vaccines are available now without an appointment for those 65 and over and younger individuals at risk of severe illness. The CDC has identified these conditions as: cancer, cerebrovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, chronic liver disease, chronic lung disease, cystic fibrosis, dementia and other neurological conditions, hemoglobin blood disorders, HIV infection, immunocompromised conditions or weakened immune system, mental health conditions, overweight or obesity, physical inactivity, pregnancy, smoking, solid organ or blood stem cell transplant, substance use disorder or tuberculosis to date.
