In partnership with Lucas Soil & Water Conservation District we’re proud to share that the first phase of our Wetlands Project is now complete. Our vision is to restore the land behind our Hill Avenue property to its natural state, helping reduce polluted runoff and protect Lake Erie.

At the same time, planting season is underway on our Urban Farm. In 2025, through our partnership with Food for Thought, we grew and distributed more than 2,500 pounds of fresh produce to the community.

Together, the Lott Urban Farm and Wetlands span 7 acres of land. We’re incredibly grateful for this space and the opportunity it provides—to nourish local families, restore our environment, and create meaningful, hands-on work for our Lott employees.

March marked Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, but at Lott, celebrating individuals with disabilities is something we do every day. Each person we serve brings a unique story, perspective, and set of gifts that enrich our community in meaningful ways.

Ryan Hayward, our front desk manager, has been part of the Lott family for 17 years. In a recent interview with 13 ABC, he shared what his work at Lott means to him.

On August 8th, we will host an Open House at our location on Hill Avenue, to celebrate 70 years of Enhancing Lives, Transforming Business, and Enriching Communities.

We invite you to save the date, as we will have a fun time celebrating the legacy of Lott with food trucks, games, and tours throughout the day. We look forward to celebrating with the Toledo community!

Did you know? Through Lott's Recycling Programs, we have recycled up to 25 MILLION pounds of paper over the years.

We also offer Styrofoam Recycling Services, and have helped to keep two Sears towers worth of Styrofoam out of the Toledo landfill, only in the past two years!

Our employees are making a difference for the environment, and for our community.

Save the Date! Lott's Shred-A-Thon is taking place all day on April 23rd, hosted by 13abc News and Lott Industries.

We invite you to bring those piles of paper you've been waiting to get rid of, from your home or office. We will guarantee that they are securely destroyed and recycled properly.

When you come, you will get to see firsthand all the incredible life change that is taking place at Lott.

Enriching the community takes many forms, and one way we do just that is through our Document Destruction Services. Lott helps to shred, destroy, and repurpose millions of pounds of paper.

This is good for the environment and provides meaningful work to the adults we serve.

Do you have piles of papers sitting around that you’ve been meaning to get rid of week after week? Well, stop by Lott anytime Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. Enter through Door H, and drop off your documents. We handle the rest! A small donation is requested to help cover the processing fee.
