Happy Back To School Week Toledo!

Some important reminders for your children's back and body health! Wearing a backpack correctly can help eliminate unnecessary back pain and injury. To wear a backpack properly:
-Ensure it's positioned high on your back, around 2 inches below your shoulders, and close to your body. -Use both shoulder straps and adjust them so they fit snugly without digging in.
-Engage the hip belt and sternum strap (if available) to distribute weight to your hips and chest, preventing strain on your shoulders and back.
-Pack heavy items closer to your back and keep the overall load light, ideally no more than 10-15% of your body weight.

Dr. Conner's children were happy to demonstrate a correct fit. We hope everyone has a happy, safe, and enjoyable school year filled with learning, growth, and new opportunities.
