Little Learners ✏️
A 4-week session designed to build confidence and foundational skills through play-based learning. We focus on pre-writing and fine motor development, scissor skills and hand control, sensory and motor play, classroom readiness, and creative expression.

Led by a licensed occupational therapist (OTR/L), this program is thoughtfully designed to be fun, engaging, and confidence-building 🤍

It’s hard to put today into words.

Over a year ago, I walked through this space for the very first time, dreaming about what DOT could become. And one of the very first things that stood out to me wasn’t even inside… it was the parking lot. It felt like more than just a parking lot. It felt like a place where something special could happen. Safe, surrounded, full of potential. I remember thinking, “This would be the perfect place for a celebration someday.”

Today, that vision came to life in a way that was even better than I ever imagined.

Seeing our parking lot filled with families, kids laughing and playing, our incredible partners, food trucks, friends, and familiar faces… it was everything I had hoped for and so much more.

What started as a small idea… a leap of faith… has grown into something so meaningful, and I truly feel overwhelmed with gratitude.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for supporting us. Thank you for helping turn this dream into something real.

✨TODAY! One year parking lot party 11am-2pm at DOT Playspace✨

We’re so excited to celebrate with you 💗 Here’s everything you need to know for your visit to be smooth and stress-free:

🚧 Parking Update (Important!)
🚫 There will be NO vehicles allowed in our parking lot during the event. This is to keep our kids safe and we are following guidelines provided by the Sylvania Township Police Department. We know it’s a bit of a longer walk, but safety always comes first. If you’re coming for the parking lot party OR indoor open play, please park in the parking lot on the other side of the building and walk around. This will be the setup for the duration of the event. Our team is outside in neon vests to help guide you!

⏱️ Indoor Play
All indoor play sessions are 60 minutes and this will be enforced so every family gets a turn.
Walk-ins are welcome if space allows and only at the top of the hour— reservations are strongly encouraged.

🚻 Restroom Access
We will have public restrooms available indoors. You are welcome to pop in to use them! Please be mindful that access to the playspace is not free. We kindly ask that if you are only coming in for the restroom, children do not play on the equipment out of respect for those who have paid for their play time.

🎟️ Play Passport Pickup
If you signed up for a Play Passport, find the DOT table and tell us your name to claim yours! As a reminder, passports will be held for one week before being released to the waitlist.

Come hungry and support some amazing local vendors!

🚗 Parking Re-Opens at 2 PM
The lot will reopen at 2 PM for our final two play sessions. Open play runs until 4 PM.
