Our Story

H.Y.P.E. was founded in 2009 by Arlana Alexander. H.Y.P.E. started out as a math and reading tutoring service for youth from grades 1-9. Over the years, there has been notice of needs in the community in which could be provided by her company. One of the needs is in helping youth gain a positive attitude in spite of their life challenges. Additionally, help them obtain their GED and obtain employment. Arlana has extensive training in preparing youth for job readiness skills.

Arlana graduated with her MAE (Master of Art in Education) from The University of Phoenix in 2008. In 2014 she completed her series of courses on middle childhood specializing in Mathematics, Social Studies, and Reading. She obtained second Master’s degree in Education Spring 2015 from the University of Toledo. On August 15, 2018, H.Y.P.E. became an OMHAS certified Behavioral Health Agency where she could not only help educationally but with individuals Mental Health as well.
