I’m excited to be partnering with the Merrill Chamber of Commerce to support their hospitality and tourism businesses as they prepare for the upcoming season.

Later this month I’ll be leading a workshop called “Stand Out in 2026: How Hospitality & Tourism Businesses Prepare to Win the Season.” We’ll be sharing fresh ideas on strengthening teams, elevating guest experiences, and helping businesses start the tourism season confident and prepared.

The moment everything clicked… happened in a coffee shop.

The atmosphere= Beautiful.

The branding= Thoughtful.

The service= Disconnected 😞

You could feel how much heart the owner had poured into it.

And that’s when I realized…

So many small businesses don’t need more passion.
They need support!

That was the day my mission shifted.
From motivation…
To transformation.

Because here’s the truth:
Many small business owners were never taught how to build structured service standards or train teams effectively. So they carry it all.

If the owner is not there, the quality drops.

If they slow down or as they are burning out, the momentum fades.

Good things take time. Great things take a little longer. 🦋
For the last five months, you may have wondered what I’ve been doing.

Repositioning. Refining. Becoming.
Like a butterfly in the cocoon, I was transforming.

For over 20 years I’ve worked in hospitality. For the last 10 years we’ve owned Tomahawk Resort on Lake Alice.

I’ve built businesses, served on boards, trained teams, mentored entrepreneurs.

I thought I was becoming a motivational speaker.

But motivation without ex*****on doesn’t change businesses.

That’s when it became clear:
I’m not just here to inspire people.
I’m here to strengthen hospitality leaders, elevate service, and help small businesses grow revenue in a sustainable way.

And this is just the beginning. 🦋
