The night before Christmas Eve 🌄🦃

Driving home tonight, the sky put on the most beautiful show, soft winter colors melting into the horizon. And just as I was soaking it in, God sent a reminder taking me to a full stop… a group of wild turkeys slowly crossing the road.
No horns. No frustration.
Just a sweet pause.
It felt like God saying, “Stop. Enjoy this moment, enjoy this beauty”
I am so grateful these are the types of traffic jams were I live.

In a season that pulls us to rush, check boxes, and keep moving, moments like this invite us to slow down and notice the gift right in front of us. The quiet. The beauty. The blessing of living somewhere where nature, not noise, sets the pace.

Tonight, pause.
Let God interrupt your hurry with something simple and sacred.
Sometimes the greatest Christmas moments happen when we stop long enough to receive them. 🎄✨

9 years ago, we took a leap of faith and purchased a property that hadn’t been run as a resort since the 1980s. It was worn, quiet, and full of unknowns...but we saw possibility. Through hard work, long days, countless prayers, and pouring our hearts into every detail, that once-forgotten place has been transformed into our home & one of our area’s premier resorts. Enjoyed the evening soaking in small-town joy at our Northwoods UTV/Jeep parade with my sweet husband and our four-legged buddy. Grateful for community, fresh air, and moments you don’t rush past.

The holidays don’t always feel joyful.
Sometimes they feel heavy, lonely, or overwhelming.

Maybe you have to be around family that are sometimes hard to love...maybe you wish the ones you love so much were still here but we have to push through without them...

Being fearless this season isn’t about forcing a smile.
It’s about choosing faith when your heart feels tired.
Letting God meet you right where you are, not where you think you should be.
