Ingredients:

β€’ Yogurt - 100 gm
β€’ Cocoa powder - To sprinkle

Lahsooni dal palak🀀

Ingredients: (For dal)

β€’ Moong chilka dal (soaked for 30 minutes) - 100 gm/1 bowl
β€’ Haldi (turmeric powder) - 1 tsp
β€’ Salt to taste
β€’ Ghee - 1 tbsp

Ingredients: (For tadka)

β€’ Ghee - 1 tbsp
β€’ Hing - a pinch (optional)
β€’ Jeera - 1 tbsp
β€’ Ginger (chopped) - 1 inch
β€’ Garlic (chopped) - 8 cloves
β€’ Green chillies (chopped) - 2
β€’ Onion (chopped) - 2 πŸ§…
β€’ Tomato puree - 3 medium πŸ…
β€’ Salt to taste
β€’ Dhaniya powder (coriander powder) - 1 tsp
β€’ Degi lal mirch - 1 tsp
β€’ Palak/Spinach (chopped) - 100 gm/1 bowl
β€’ Garam masala - 1/2 tbsp
β€’ Coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 tbsp

Recipe:

1. In a cooker add soaked moong dal, turmeric, salt and ghee. Cook it for 4-5 whistles on medium flame, and keep aside
2. For tadka, take a pan, heat it and add ghee, hing, jeera, garlic, ginger, green chillies and onions, and cook until onions turn golden brown
3. Then add degi lal mirch, coriander powder, tomato puree and salt to taste
4. Cook for 3-5 minutes before adding chopped spinach. Again, cook for 2 minutes and add dal to it. Mix well
5. Now, add garam masala and garnish with coriander leaves, and enjoy!
