Busy and growing psychiatric practice in Tomball/Cypress/The Woodlands area is seeking to fill a Front Office Assistant position.

Job duties include but are not limited to:
scheduling appointments
checking patients in/out
collecting co-payments and balances
answering multiple phone lines
relaying messages
typing letters
filing charts
insurance verification

Skills: Good communication and computer skills are a must, as well as a pleasant and friendly attitude. Experience in a medical office is a bonus however we would be willing to train a bright and energetic candidate.

Just to let everyone know: We re-opened for part of the day today and will try to get back to everyone as quickly as we can. Unfortunately, we are working on a very reduced staff. One young lady had to evacuate out of town, another staff member quit with no notice and DeeAnna O. has been flooded into her neighborhood and unable to get out until today. Further, Dr. Godsy had about ten feet of water on his property. The nurse practitioner lives about 40 minutes away and has not yet able to get to the office. Adding to the difficulty of everything, as we are trying to get everything back up and running as usual, we are finding that many pharmacies are not open or are flooded. Please be patient with us and we will try to help you as soon as we! We know this is a very stressful time and very emotionally trying time for everyone and our hearts and prayers go out to all of you!!!

Starting Monday, January 16th, we will be open at our new location at 11439 Spring Cypress, Building A, Tomball, TX.

The closest major intersection is Highway 249 and Spring Cypress Road.

North Houston Psychiatry is closing on its new building in December off of Spring Cypress Rd. near Hwy 249. All patient appointments will be at this new location when we re-open in January after the holidays.

Starting tomorrow, November 3, 2016, we will have a new psychiatric nurse practitioner working at NHP and more availability for appointments.
