Today is a bake day, and as I work, I'm excited to share some insights with our followers and customers. Bartering plays a vital role for us, not only in meeting our weekly needs but also in sourcing fresh products to share with you. The strawberries and cream bagels, which I don't often have the chance to make, feature fresh strawberries from a farmer we trade with, as well as freeze-dried strawberries from Jan's Sweets And Treats. Additionally, my essential hydration substitute, hibiscus tea instead of Coke zero, is supplied by Mad Scientist Kombucha in exchange for our five seed loaf. Given my autoimmune disorder, it's also crucial for me to visit our friend Angie's Gardens to purchase her fireman's tea while sharing her enthusiasm for our caramelized onion and smoked Gouda bread. We're grateful for the microgreens from our friends B'Leaf while sharing a different loaf with them every week. And we mustn't overlook the product that started it all, which has become a staple at Farmers Markets everywhere-Booth Buddies from Parker Pickling Co.
come see us all this Saturday The Courtyard Collective Farmer's Market and enjoy not only our bread, but the amazing products from our friends!
