Dave K Dorroh DDS

He relocated his office to Tomball in 1987. Dr.Dorroh spent the first 18 months of his career serving as an intern for Dr. David E. Holsey in Houston ,Texas. Dr. Dorroh states, 'The first 18 months that I practiced with Dr.Holsey was foundational . Dr. Holsey had me taking all of his crown and bridge impressions and making all of the temporary crowns and bridges. His standard was perfection. Doctor Holsey used to tell me "one mans ceiling is another mans floor when it comes to quality" and that "Our integrity is the only thing we have safeguarding the quality of our patients treatment. Never compromise your integrity when it comes to quality. If you do the only direction you will go in terms of quality will be down". That additional time that I spent training with Dr. Holsey shaped the way that I approach the practice of dentistry. Dr.Holsey checked the quality of everything that I did and never failed to tell me to "do that again,its not perfect". I was very naive at the time and assumed that this was the way everybody practiced. To this day I have held myself to Dr. Holsey's standard. So there you have it. I have kept the physical size of my office small because I believe that "Bigger is Not Better-Higher Quality is Better", and since I can't be in two places at one time I choose to ideally treat one patient at a time.'
