Staffing is one of the most discussed challenges in residential assisted living and for good reason. Turnover is high, demand is growing, and the emotional labor required of caregivers is real.

Albert Schuster was Andrea Ameen's grandfather, and he dealt with Alzheimer's at the end of his life. Andrea remembers him as a feisty businessman, and is sure that he would be proud to see she is now an entrepreneur herself. He taught her how to draw clouds when she was little - a talent that many would never suspect he had. This Season of Giving, give support to individuals and families impacted by Dementia.
