Agency Day at the Housing Center โ€” Toms River

Join us for Agency Day at the Ocean County Housing Resource Center on Wednesday, March 11 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 405 Washington Street, Toms River. This community event brings together multiple service providers in one location to assist residents with housing support, social services, healthcare resources, mental health services, reentry assistance, and more.

Participating agencies include Ocean County Social Services, Family Promise, HomeSharing, LivWell Healthcare, Mental Health Association of NJ, NJ Reentry, VNA Harm Reduction Center, and additional community partners.

Walk-ins are welcome throughout the event. If you or someone you know could benefit from these services, this is an opportunity to connect directly with organizations ready to help.

The Ocean County Office of Senior Services has initiated a pilot program to combat food insecurity in Ocean County. Community Aides are available to assist residents (60+ years of age and those with disabilities [18+]) in determining eligibility for supplemental nutrition assistance.

Currently Operation Homeplate is hosting application days at the following locations listed below.

๐Ÿ The Adolescent Housing Hub (AHH or the Hub) is a real-time database designed to help youth access placement in a transitional or permanent housing program. AHH is managed by the Office of Housing under the Department of Children and Families. AHH services are available to eligible homeless youth, youth at risk for homelessness, and youth aging out of the child welfare system, ages 18 โ€“ 21 years.
