I was freshening up my Reiki room the other day and glanced at my favorite framed sign I bought years ago when I was first building our Center, back when everything still felt like a vision I was trying to bring to life, and it stopped me for a moment:
“Find what sets your soul on fire.”
Finding what lights you up isn't always obvious. Sometimes it's something you uncover slowly, especially after a season of feeling stuck, disconnected, or like you've been living a version of your life that doesn't quite feel like your own. I know that feeling well. I was there once.
That sense of going through the motions, doing what you're supposed to do, but underneath it all something feels off, even if you can't quite explain why. What I've come to understand, both in my own life and through the people who walk through our doors, is that it's not because something is wrong… it's because you've gotten a little too far away from yourself.
For me, it was Reiki and these holistic practices that helped me come back. Not all at once, but little by little, until I could finally hear myself again, and that's where I began to discover what truly lit me up.
And that's why this space means so much to me! Because it's not just a place to take a class, it's a place where you can come, take a breath, and start to reconnect with who you are underneath all of it.
I think spring invites us into that, too! There's something about this season that reminds us we're allowed to shift, to soften, to begin again… not by forcing change, but by gently finding our way back.
This month, everything we're offering is rooted in that idea: Whether it's through sound, movement, Reiki, or workshops that help you reconnect with your energy and your confidence, you don't need to do it all… you just need to notice what you feel drawn to. That's usually where it begins.
If you feel called, you can explore everything we have coming up here: www.holistichealingbwc.com/classes/
And if you've been feeling a little stuck lately…
I hope this is your reminder that you don't have to stay there!
