✨ What a powerful evening we had last week ✨

We are so grateful to everyone who joined us for the latest Sober Parenting workshop. Shawn shared practical tools and insights for helping our teens resist the lure of the streets and find healthier ways to cope—and the conversations in the room showed just how important this topic is for parents, professionals, and the community alike.

A heartfelt thank-you to our friends at HOPE Sheds Light for so graciously partnering with us and providing their space for this event. And a special shout-out to Ashley and Eric for all their help in making the night run so smoothly—we couldn’t have done it without you!

Up next: we’ll be returning to our Debunking the Myths About Relapse series in October, with the second workshop in that series.

Leadem Counseling is seeking to launch free community educational workshops within central New Jersey. The first set of 9 workshops developed will be equally divided into a set of three that will comprise of a workshop series. Each of the three initial series will seek to address one facet of addiction and its impact on us, our loved ones and our broader community as well as practical solutions designed to address each facet examined. These workshops will be available to all who would like to attend – from the individual who may be suffering, to a spouse, to community and religious leaders, to therapists and to extended family members.

As you can see on our flyer, we will begin the launch of our community educational workshops with the series titled Sober Parenting: Carrying the Hope to Our Children this coming June!
