We seriously sleigh-ed our toy drive record!

Community Medical Center and some very generous community partners teamed up to collect thousands of toys to Toys for Tots, to be distributed to countless local children this holiday season.

This annual tradition is organized by Veterans Engaging Through Service, a group of Community Medical Center employees who improve work to improve both the hospital experience and workplace environment for veterans at CMC.

Thank you to Schnell Contracting Services for being our largest donor, and to PMC Mechanical for donating our “sleigh” to deliver our donations!

We’re excited to share that Aaron F. Hajart has been named President and Chief Executive Officer for Community Medical Center, an RWJBarnabas Health facility, effective Jan. 1, 2026.
He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of the 592-bed teaching hospital and succeeds Patrick Ahearn following his distinguished tenure and more than 25 years of service to RWJBarnabas Health.

In his new role, Aaron will lead Community Medical Center’s continued growth and operational excellence, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care for residents of Ocean County and the surrounding region.
