❄️ Japanese author Masaru Emoto became famous for photographing frozen water crystals that he claimed were influenced by words, music and human emotion. In his experiments, water exposed to loving words formed beautiful, symmetrical crystals, while water exposed to negative words appeared distorted.

📣 The New Food Pyramid Is Here — And They’re Finally Getting It Right!

▪️Big news! On January 7, 2026, the Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2025–2030 brought back a Food Pyramid — but with a major twist. This is the first major update in over a decade since the old food pyramid was retired when MyPlate replaced it in 2011. 

▪️Instead of grains forming the base as in the old pyramid, the new version is inverted to highlight what really matters for health in 2026.

▪️Top / Wide Base (eat more often):
• High-quality protein — including lean meats, fish, poultry, eggs, beans, legumes and nuts
• Vegetables and fruits
• Healthy fats — from whole foods like avocados, olive oil, nuts and seeds
• Dairy — especially full-fat dairy without added sugars
These are now the foundation of your daily nutrition priorities. 

▪️Bottom / Narrow Base (eat less often):
• Whole grains — now recommended more moderately (about 2–4 servings/day)
• Refined carbs and highly processed foods — strongly discouraged
• Added sugars — aim for minimal. The new guidelines say no amount of added sugar is considered healthy and suggest keeping added sugar to ≤10g per meal. 

▪️Protein and Fat Recommendations:
• Daily protein recommendations have increased — roughly 1.2–1.6 grams per kilogram of body weight — to support muscle energy and overall nutrition. 
• Healthy fats are encouraged from whole sources like olive oil, nuts, seeds and fatty fish — while keeping saturated fats to ≤10% of total calories.

▪️Serving Highlights:
• Vegetables: Aim for at least 3 servings/day
• Fruits: Around 2 servings/day
• Whole grains: 2–4 servings/day
• Protein and dairy: Prioritize at every meal
• Added sugars and ultra-processed foods: Keep very limited!

▪️This update isn’t just a new graphic — it’s an effort to help Americans take charge of their diet and focus on eating real, whole foods that fuel health, strength and longevity.
