Great Lakes is one of North America's largest orthodontic laboratories and offers more than 4,000 products and services. Wondering how to get started with dental sleep medicine?

From screening patients to choosing an appliance and evaluating results, Great Lakes provides training, tools, and lab support.

1️⃣ Screen your patients using a series of questions and an examination. Ask about daytime fatigue or snoring, and check for oral clues, such as a scalloped tongue or a high palate.

2️⃣ Use a home sleep screener to capture real data on breathing patterns.

3️⃣ Capture a protrusive bite position with the George Gauge® or an intraoral scan, and send this to the lab.

4️⃣ Match the right appliance based on bite position, material, and patient anatomy.
