❄️ HOLIDAY HOURS ❄️

We here at Dressel Chiropractic want to wish a very Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to our wonderful patients and their families!

This year the office will be closed the Friday and Saturday after Christmas, in addition to Christmas Eve/Day and New Years Eve/Day.

Dr. Chris will be heading out of town for a few days to catch a little ☀️ from Jan. 2 through Jan. 6, so if you need to get in after the New Year, Dr. Max is your guy!

☃️ WINTER IS HERE! ☃️

For many of us, the season of decorations and holiday parties also becomes the season of slippery sidewalks and stairs.

One week into December this year and we already have a half dozen patients who hurt themselves slipping and falling outside their houses. Ouch!

Now this is typically when Dr. Chris would like to go into a physics lecture on static versus kinetic friction forces and how to avoid sliding around, but since this is the season of giving, we’re going to give you a break this time 🤣.

Instead we’ll simply say if you slip and injure yourself this winter, remember we’re always here to help straighten you out!

🦃 THANKSGIVING HOURS 🦃

Dressel Chiropractic will be closed Nov. 27 through Nov. 29 for Thanksgiving. Dr. Max will be off on Weds. Nov 26 as well. We will resume normal hours on Mon. Dec 1.

Anyone celebrating in the Buffalo area this year is welcome to say hi to Dr. Chris during the holiday weekend at the Turkey Trot and/or The Worlds Largest Disco!

Fun spooky office facts: Dr. Chris can name every line from the original Ghostbusters from memory, and he considers Hereditary to be the scariest movie he’s ever seen.

Tina’s favorite scary movie? Halloweentown. 🤦‍♂️

🦞 Hours Update! 🦞

Dr. Chris is heading up to Maine for a wedding this week, and will be off from Fri Oct. 10 - Weds Oct. 15. The office will be CLOSED Saturday and Monday.

Dr. Max will be available to see any patients who need to get in on Friday, Tuesday, and Wednesday!

🚧 Construction Update! 🚧

For those who have had the pleasure of driving into our parking lot over the last few days, you may have found it difficult to…well…drive into our parking lot.

While the building next to us is being renovated, the curbside portion of our plaza is as well! It turns out you don’t actually need five different driveways to enter a small plaza, so a few are being converted into more parking spaces.

This will make it much easier for our patients to find parking during busy hours going forward. Thanks for your patience!

🍤 Sh*****ng ain’t Easy! 🍤

Does this picture look familiar? Sitting at your desk working while completely slumped over? Well what you may not know is this is the primary reason why patients come and say “Oh my shoulders are soo tight!”

And what’s interesting is that the reason patients have this tightness across their upper back and shoulder regions is actually because of their chest muscles, not their back or shoulders.

When you’re stuck in this “shrimp posture,” your arms and the anterior (front) part of your shoulders get close to each other in front of your body. Your chest muscles tighten, and this pulls your shoulder blades apart and creates a continuous stretching tension across the back, which then eventually will cause upper back and neck pain as well as headaches! Know someone who gets trigger point injections in their shoulders for headaches? This is likely why!

We see this every day and would love to get you looking a little less like our smiling crustacean friend here and actually fix the issue!

💫 Office closed 💫

Dr. Chris and Dr. Max are both taking a little time off from Tuesday, August 12 through Thursday, August 14. The office will be open for normal hours again on Friday, August 15 and Saturday, August 16.

As always, we are available via email and DM to answer all questions while we are off.

Remember, we are often fully booked very quickly on weeks where we have extra days off! However, we always have a few extra slots laying around for people who need them last minute. Do not hesitate to reach out if you can’t find anything online and need to get in!
