Who doesn’t love a little inspirational popcorn? I couldn’t be prouder of my son, Derrick, and his amazing wife, Angela. Not only are they raising three adorable girls, working full time, and nearly finishing their master’s degrees—they’re also mentoring others to reach the highest ranks in their military careers. Their example of dedication, service, and perseverance is nothing short of inspiring.

Right now, they’re helping lead this year’s Senior Non-Commissioned Officer Induction Ceremony—an event honoring those stepping into the elite ranks of Senior NCOs, leaders entrusted with the highest standards and the responsibility of mentoring the next generation. This isn’t funded by the Air Force; it’s made possible by the Altus AFB Top III, a private group of senior enlisted leaders, and the generosity of people like you.

🦶 Try shoes on in the afternoon – Feet are at their largest later in the day.
💧 Stay hydrated – Proper hydration helps reduce swelling.
🛑 Take breaks – If you stand a lot, elevate your feet when possible.
