🌊 Stress Surfers is launching this January!

We’re excited to introduce our new 6-week mental health skills group for kids ages 9–12 — designed to help kids “ride the waves” of emotions instead of getting swept away.

📅 January 5th – February 9th
🕔 Mondays, 5:00–6:00 PM
💙 Fun, skills-based activities
💬 Emotional regulation + coping tools
🏄‍♂️ Confidence building + peer support

✨ Early Bird Price: $150 before 12/22
✨ Standard: $200 after 12/22

Insurance may be accepted — intake must be completed before 1/1/26.

Our mission is to expand access to affordable, meaningful mental health supports— so additional groups will be rolling out this year. We can’t wait to share what’s next!

Just a reminder that our Haunted Health and Safety Fair is coming up this Wednesday evening!

It is a Trick or Treat style event, so wear your costumes and come prepared for some treats and lots of information about health and safety.

All Scholar Academy students will receive a free dress pass.

Everyone who attends will receive five tickets to put into for various raffle items.

The hospital will be hosting a Teddy Bear Clinic, so kids, bring your stuffed animals to have the hospital fix all their booboos!

🌅 Change can feel heavy, uncertain, or even overwhelming—like packing up and moving into a new chapter. But just as the sun sets in brilliant color, transitions in our lives can bring unexpected beauty.

At Tooele Valley Counseling, we know this first-hand. As humans, we experience change too—like the multiple office moves we’ve navigated this year. Come check it out! It’s super fun for all the kids. A community event regardless of attendance at Scholar Academy.

Our annual Haunted Health and Safety Fair is rapidly approaching. Mark your calendars for October 29 from 5-7 pm.

In the meantime, we are looking for donations.

First off, we are in need of items to raffle. If you own a small business that could donate something or would be willing to personally build a basket or donate some other item, that would be greatly appreciated. Please reach out to us and let us know. Donations can be left with the front office. If you do donate something, please leave either yours or your business’s name so that we can properly thank you.

We also need donations of bags of candy. We like to supply our guests with candy they can give out to the kids as it’s done in a Trunk or Treat Style format.
