This October, we stand with the fighters, celebrate the survivors, and honor those we’ve lost. Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a reminder to take charge of your health — schedule your screenings, know your risk factors, and talk to your provider about any changes. Early detection saves lives, and together we can spread hope and awareness throughout our community. 💕

• Hip replacements
• Shoulder surgery
Abby Delaney, PTA, CLT, who is a certified lymphedema therapist, offers Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) to those with primary or secondary lymphedema. Treatment involves Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) as well as compression therapy, along with instruction in skin care and therapeutic exercises appropriate for each person.

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Getting screened can save your life.

Colorectal cancer is the fourth most commonly diagnosed cancer in the U.S. and the second leading cause of cancer death. Yet this cancer can be prevented with screening and is highly treatable when detected early. If you are 45 or older you need to get your screening done, if you haven't already.

March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Help us spotlight colorectal cancer and inspire more people to get checked starting at age 45.

BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH:

In 2024, more than 360,000 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer. But there is hope. Advancements in early detection methods and support continue to increase the chances of survival. When caught in its earliest, localized stages, the 5-year relative survival rate of breast cancer is 99%.

But early detection for all is only possible through action, by doing self-exams and getting mammograms. If you are over 45 and haven't had a mammogram, don't hesitate, go get one. If you have a history of breast cancer in your family, you should get one sooner than 45.
