Tooele Midwifery is so excited to announce our official expansion and growth into Salt Lake County! Many of you have already come to know and love Morgan as a student midwife. We’re now honored to officially call her midwife and have her as part of the Tooele Midwifery team! (as if we didn’t already know that was going to happen 😉)

- Homebirth services now offered in Salt Lake County with no additional fees

“Hi friends! With the end of term coming up that means tuition is due. If I am unable to pay tuition in full my midwifery journey comes to an end. So, I am asking for some help to make it happen.

Every time we cycle through a birth tub, it feels like moving into a new phase of life. These spaces hold so many memories with clients and supporting them through some of their most intense moments; before and after they meet their baby. We started a tradition of writing the birthdays on the tub, whether the baby was born in the tub, on land or transferred for a hospital birth.

For the last 2.5 years, each baby born and the work their mother put into bring them here has been honored on this tub. I’m excited to continue the tradition with our new tub and all the babies to come 💜

It is such an honor to work alongside these incredible women as midwives and birth workers. The tenacity and desire to continue serving, educating and improving everyday is inspiring and I look up to each of them. This year’s 2025 UMO Conference was “Rooted in Legacy, Growing for the Future” and it met that energy perfectly. I’m so grateful for this circle of people that I get to be surrounded by everyday. Love you all!

Don’t worry..this is just what we look like after the 5 days we’ve had 😬
💜 a full weekend birth
💜 then student assessment week (Morgan tested out of phase 2 and I assessed students for 3 days)
💜 Morgan processed 2 placentas
💜 then another all nighter birth

And still - Morgan handled her 1st Phase 3 primary midwife birth (and COC) like a boss! A 2-minute shoulder dystocia and 700cc hemorrhage was managed perfectly. Once again, I’m just SO proud! You’re going to rock your primaries 🤘🏽

An amazing surprise visit from Kendra at clinic on Friday resulted in an impromptu skills day and assessment prep. These two are going to kill it in their testing next month and I’m so excited to see them thrive in phase 3!
