Our executive team was honored to attend the American Correctional Association Conference in Denver, an invaluable opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen partnerships, and advance professional growth.

Our leadership delivered insightful presentations and led key discussions, while our exhibition team engaged attendees and highlighted VitalCore’s continued commitment to excellence in correctional healthcare.

We commend everyone who contributed to the success of this year’s conference and look forward to participating in the Spring ACA in February.

At the 2025 ACA Conference in Denver, on August 23, 2025, the Weber County Sheriff’s Office Re-entry Team was honored with the Innovation as an Accredited Facility Corrections Award.

Award Citation:
“ in recognition of the Weber County Re-entry program that successfully bridges, the gap for those incarcerated who are transitioning back into society, positively impacting both the individual and the community while reducing the burden on the justice system”

The Weber County Sheriff’s Office is led by an outstanding leadership team that embodies continuous improvement, forward thinking, and innovation. Their unwavering commitment to excellence sets a powerful example in the field of corrections.

September marks the beginning of National Recovery Month. As a way to celebrate, residents enrolled in our Level IV Substance Use Disorder Residential Treatment program: Road to Recovery, participated in a weeks' worth of events. Through collaboration with DOC, we raised awareness in the treatment community by inviting representatives from local organizations to present their services, thereby supporting our clients’ reintegration process. During the week of September 23rd through September 26th, VitalCore staff, in collaboration with the residents here at Community Corrections Treatment Center (CCTC), in Delaware, facilitated a series of events to celebrate National Recovery Month 2025. These activities provided clients with opportunities to engage with community partners, strengthen peer connections, and build motivation for sustained recovery.

Our VitalCore Team in Delaware hosted a Back-to-School Cookout and welcomed the families of the Delaware DOC office to join in the fun!
Everyone enjoyed burgers, games, and time together. Each child received a small pencil pouch to kick off the new school year, and we wish them all the best as they head back to class!
